8. Tabiri
In Tabiri, Deborah sings mostly in English (which will spare me from translating), but also in Swahili. Swahili is a language mostly spoken in Eastern Africa, including in DRC, and Kenya. The title means to prophesy. Throughout the song, Deborah gives many positive prophesies, most times paraphrasing some biblical verses.
The song was interpreted in the trendy Nigerian style, which almost simulated accents. Fortunately, the combination works this time around. The Sebene toward the end of the song comes handy and bring some uniqueness to the song. Overall, Tabari is an excellent modern workship song.
